About ANTIQUE STOVES
The word stove actually means hot air bath, heated chamber or cooking apparatus - and yes, Ovne stoves can provide all the above.

"Ovne" is Danish for stoves, and we specialise in finding, restoring and supplying solid fuel antique stoves from the golden era of continental stove casting, which have been carefully renovated by our master craftsmen in Copenhagen, Denmark. These cast-iron and enamel artefacts of old have once again become objects of desire.
What really sets these stoves apart from others currently on the market is their aesthetic appeal which just can’t be matched by the new stove. The range of stoves we supply is drawn from numerous original manufacturers such as Morso, Lange,Tasso and Godin, each with their own distinctive styles.

Between 1870 and 1930, a great variety of stoves was produced throughout Scandinavia, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and mainland Europe. The intense competition across the continent resulted in the highest quality of design and forging. The designs and castings of this period are so superior that even a century later the stoves look and function as if they have just left the foundry.
